The "Passo Del Cerreto" Bar Restaurant is the National Park's Visitor Center. Situated at an altitude of 1,250 m, on the watershed separating three regions, namely Emilia, Tuscany and Liguria, in the middle of the area bordering with Reggio Emilia, La Spezia and Cinque Terre, the "Passo Del Cerreto" Bar Restaurant overlooks the impressive amphitheater of the Tosco-Emiliano Apennine (with the mounts La Nuda, Ventasso, Alpe Di Succiso, Cavalbianco and the Inferno Valley) and the Lunigiana's castles and ancient villages as well.
Situated in the heart of the Appennino Tosco Emiliano National Park it is the ideal place to carry out hikes - in the garden three paths begins: the C.A.I. path leading to the Secchia river's wells, the G.E.A. path and the Italia path - and to look for undergrowth fruits and mushrooms. The "Passo Del Cerreto" Bar Restaurant, which already was the National Park's information point, now becomes a real Visitor Center able to offer an accommodation solution and a high quality cooking. The chef is Mario Giannarelli, who graduated in 2011 at the ALMA International School of Italian Cooking of Gualtiero Marchesi, partner of the National Park for the "Menu a Km Zero" festival.
