Mt. Vecchio dominates Orecchiella valleys like a pyramid, dividing the valleys of Soraggio and Sassorosso, and the Scaloni, like Bocca di Scala, characterize the uphill road developing among sandstone strata. This trail used to lead the flocks to the pastures of the ridge and beyond, in Upper Val Dolo. Following the sheep tracks, you will cross the calcareous cliffs of Pania, Campaiana summer pastures, the pastures of Bocca di Scala, and Lamarossa forest, rich in springs.
