A real natural monument, a sacred symbol known by man from Prehistory, mentioned in Divina Commedia, used like natural defense from various people and factions, Pietra di Bismàntova is now an ideal destination for mountaineering and sports climbing. It is now part of the territory of Appennino tosco-emiliano National Park. It offers wonderful landscapes also to hikers, and it is recommended to visit it in different seasons.
