Go ahead on the southern shore of the lake, along a trail climbing westwards on the slope of the amphitheater to Sella del Monte Acuto 1,722m (0.30), at the southern foot of the homonymous summit 1,756m, you can reach by making a short detour. Climbing towards a 19th century boundary stone, follow the ridge trail marker 00 direction west, gradually going down along the Costaccia, a large grassy shoulder facing Lagastrello basin.
