Lagdei Peat Bog through the Senses

Lagdei peat bog lies in the Municipality of Corniglio (PR), at the foot of Mt. Orsaro and Mt. Braiola. It is the last evidence of an ancient glacial lake. In the wet grassland, wild orchids like Dactylorhiza fuchsii and Coeloglossum viride grow. At the end of June, you can admire the white plumes of the cottongrass, while in August the area is covered with the blue flowers of the willow gentian. There are several butterflies, colored grasshoppers, iridescent coleoptera live in the peat bog.
