Zona del Parco: Zone B - Upper Val Dolo and Val d'Asta

Two of the most significant amphitheater-like glacial cirques are situated between Alpe di Vallestrina, a forked and imposing summit, and La Piella, bellied secondary summit of Mt. Cusna (the belly of the Giant would be behind the silhouette of Mt. Cusna, and Vallestrina would be its knees). Along centuries-old tracks, you will head for the pastures of Asta and Febbio to discover the traces of the ephemeral war railway line Febbio - Quara, and then for the more solitary Lame, peat bogs of glacial origin, and finally for the panoramic ridges of Passone, historical pass between Val d'Asta, val d'Ozola, and Val Dolo.
